This year, the 9th annual Leicestershire Curry Awards will take place on Monday, September 15th – bringing together the brightest stars of the county’s curry scene.
This exciting red-carpet event will take place at the Athena Events Venue in the heart of Leicester – the nation’s official ‘Curry Capital’.

Inside the iconic art-deco building, hungry restauranteurs will battle it out for one of eight coveted titles; ‘Best Fine Dining’, ‘Best Vegetarian Restaurant’, ‘Best Takeaway,’ ‘Best Pub Restaurant, ‘Best Catering’ Best Street Food,’ ‘Best New Restaurant’ and ‘Restaurant of the Year’.
The event draws huge crowds and esteemed guests who come to enjoy the excitement, anticipation and glitzy atmosphere of the night, as well as the delight of those who reign supreme.
A dazzling variety of entertainment and a sumptuous three course meal will also be served to those who attend.
