Award-winning fitness instructor Becky White has seen her business thrive over the past year, as more people embrace a form of exercise that’s not only fun but also packed with endorphin-boosting energy!
Through her business, onesixeight:fitness, Becky has helped thousands improve their health and well-being with her bounce fitness classes across Leicestershire.

Since launching in 2010, she has expanded her classes to include locations in Rothley, Thurmaston, Groby, Leicester Forest East, and more. The sessions, held in village halls across the county, are not just a great workout, but a fun, friendly way to stay fit and burn hundreds of calories—without it feeling like a chore.
“When you’re on a trampoline, you just can’t help but smile. You might pause for a moment and think, ‘Is this really exercise?!’” says Becky. “Sometimes, it’s just about getting on the trampoline and letting your body move in ways you wouldn’t normally. It’s refreshing.”
Bounce fitness offers something unique—fun, inclusive, and a great alternative for people who may not enjoy traditional exercise classes or the gym environment. The low-impact nature of the workout makes it ideal for those with joint or bone issues, while still providing an effective full-body workout.
A single 45-minute bounce class can burn between 300 and 500 calories, all while releasing a surge of endorphins— the ‘happy hormones’ we all love.
“The impact of a good workout— whether it’s Bounce or anything else, is incredible,” says Becky.
“It’s life-changing. It energises you. When you’re exercising, you’re not just moving your body—you’re boosting your confidence, your productivity, and your overall sense of well-being.”
“I couldn’t imagine my life without exercise. I love it, and it’s my mission to pass that feeling on to others, especially those who think exercise isn’t for them or isn’t a priority.”
This year, Becky is focused on getting even more people moving, with plans to expand her bounce fitness classes to Oadby, Melton, and Hinckley.

She’s also eager to grow her business on a national scale, with hopes of eventually taking it overseas.
The Rothley resident takes great joy in watching her community grow, with new members signing up and returning week after week, making bounce fitness an integral part of their lives.
“I do a little happy dance whenever someone new signs up,” she laughs.
“I feel like it could be the start of something big for them, and when they renew their membership and keep coming back, that makes me so happy. But the biggest thrill comes when someone tells me they’ve never stuck with an exercise class before, but Bounce has helped them commit longer than they ever have—and they’re feeling the benefits of it. They’ve finally found ‘their thing.’”
For Becky, it’s not just about fitness— it’s about changing lives, one bounce at a time.
